In fact, we know before we can create an environment conducive to learning, our students must feel safe, secure and supported. That is why we have developed an innovative Student Wellness & Prevention Framework to proactively address:

Next week’s activities will include demolition of the existing asphalt, curb and gutter, and utilities. There will be quite a few trucks entering and leaving the site as well as equipment working within the site. ATTENDANCE DOES MATTER - PLEASE BE IN ATTENDANCE SEPTEMBER 22! Every school district across Colorado are mandated by state law to count their students. This number is incredibly important, because the headcount is used to determine how much state funding each district-- and in turn, each school-- receives. While Douglas County School District always encourages student attendance and participation, September 22 is important because of its direct impact on funding, it is just one day. If students are too sick to go to school or must be absent for another important reason, the District does have an ability to report updated numbers. TTE CUSTOM CALENDAR - FALL AND SPRING BREAK DATES REMINDER Timber Trail Elementary follows the DCSD 2016-17 Conventional calendar. The exception to this is Monday, October 17, 2016 (Monday after fall break) and Monday, March 27, 2017 (Monday after spring break) when TTE students will not attend school due to teacher professional development. These two dates only pertain to Timber Trail. Other schools in the Rock Canyon feeder will have school on those two days. Timber Trail has five more minutes in our day to provide for two additional staff development days in the year. Our B.A.S.E. program will be open those days to provide a childcare option. Again, this change is only for Timber Trail Elementary, not the entire district. Timber Trail will be following all other dates as listed on the district conventional calendar which can be found here. (attach calendar) RED APPLE RECYCLING CLOTHING DRIVE CHALLENGE!
