FIELD DAY

 
Thanks to Mr. Newman, Mrs. Berndt, Ms. Wilson and Mrs. Johnston for a fantastic Field Day!  The afternoon session was a bit wet, but everyone had a great time.  We also want to thank Colleen Moar and her group of volunteers for their help and ensuring that everything ran smoothly.

Missing a jacket, sweatshirt or lunch box? Please check our Lost andFound area in the cafeteria when you are here for end of year parties.   ALL ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO A LOCAL CHARITY ON FRIDAY, MAY 22 AT 3:30 PM.


FOUR TIMBER TRAIL STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARD FOR ARTWORK!
Four Timber Trail students were selected to have their artwork displayed at the Douglas County Awards Exhibition. A reception was held Monday, May 11th at the Pace Center in Parker.

First grader Olivia Dunn was the recipient of a Wow! Award for her beautiful Mother's Day Flower collage. 

Emma Kim, won first place in the Second Grade category for the Air Academy Federal Credit Union Scholarship Award.  She received $25. Everyone loved her Clay Bird.
Madeline Leonardi won first place in Third Grade category for the Air Academy Federal Credit Union Scholarship Award. She received $25 for her Calaveras (Sugar Skull).  
Fifth grader Sadie Rowe won for Grade 4-6 in the entire Highlands Ranch area. She received a $120.00 Scholarship Award from Douglas County Schools for her stone carved Elephant.  It was presented by our School Board President, Kevin Larsen.

HELP ORPHANS IN UGANDA
This June, TTE 4th grader Dominic Malsam is going with his family to Uganda, Africa to serve poor and needy children and families. The group they are affiliated with serve over 170 poor children, most of whom are orphans and live in supported orphanages as well as go to school there. The team doing a building project as well as a medical clinic. If you have any of the following items, we’d love to bring them along with us! Contact Molly Malsam for more information, or deliver them to Mrs. Haynes’ 4th grade class by the last day of school (5/22).
 
NEW OR NEAR-NEW:
  • small toys
  • journals
  • pencils
  • hard candy
  • kid clothes
  • small toothbrushes
  • ibuprofen
  • medical gloves
  • anti fungal cream
  • reading glasses or sunglasses (must be new)
  • chewable vitamins (preferably hard, not gummies)
