Dear TTE Families,

On behalf of the TTE staff I want to thank you for the amazing outpouring that we received during Staff Appreciation Week.  We were given wonderful treats and gifts centered around a beach theme including sunglasses, beach towels, flip flops, coffee, mini massages, fantastic food, and spa certificates.  A huge thanks to Whitney Shank, Jennifer Cox, Page Warnke, Jenn Halvas, The Terrones family, and all of those who donated, helped organize, set up and plan.

More importantly, we want to thank you for the trust, support, and time that you give to us everyday.  Whether that is in the form of volunteering, communicating with teachers, offering your insight and suggestions or helping your child with a project, we couldn't do this without you and all you do.

We are truly blessed to be a part of such a caring and supportive community.

Thank you and have a wonderful long weekend.

Michele Radke

LOST AND FOUND

Missing a jacket, sweatshirt or lunch box? Please check our Lost and Found area in the cafeteria.   ALL ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO RED APPLE RECYCLING ON THURSDAY, APRIL 30.

LIGHTNING DISMISSAL/DELAYED DISMISSAL
In the event of unsafe weather conditions at Timber Trail, the
principal or designee will decide to delay dismissal. This is not
something we can plan in advance-often the decision is made 5-10
minutes before school ends. If it appears that the storm will be

brief, students will be kept in their classrooms and then proceed as
normal when the storm dies down. When lightning occurs at dismissal

time, students will be required to remain in the building until it is
safe. Buses will depart as soon as it is safe.

SUNSCREEN AND WARMER WEATHER
Please remember to apply sunscreen to your child before school.  TTE
staff is not allowed to apply sunscreen. Don't forget to bring a water
bottle to school.  Hydration is key during our sunny days!

RED APPLE RECYCLING CLOTHING DRIVE CHALLENGE ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT!!

Spring is in the air!   Clean out your closets and help Timber Trail raise money.

Please bring the following items to help fill our  Red Apple Recycling donation box which is located in the bus loop:

ANY type of clean clothing

- Shoes

- All other household textiles

- Toys & stuffed animals

- Belts, purses & backpacks

For every pound we collect the school will earn money to help pay for sustainability and wellness programs throughout the year.  Last fall TTE was the winning school in Douglas County for pounds of donations collected.  This gave us an extra $750, for a total of  $1,200!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR 2015-2016

Timber Trail Elementary offers the EduKit program as an option for our busy families to order supplies for the upcoming school year. The program is a time saving, simple way for you to ensure that your student has exactly the correct supplies needed to start the year off right. Avoid the back-to-school rush and going from store to store to get all of the required items. EduKit will take care of that for you.
Order by June 10 for best pricing and free shipping. Your child's kit will be on their desk the first day of school. To order:
1. Go to www.edukitinc.com.
2. Type "Timber Trail" into the "Find Your School" field.
3. Pay online through EduKit's secure website.
After June 10, kits may be purchased online through EduKit's Last Chance program until July 26. Last Chance kits will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.
There is an additional fee for Last Chance kits.
Thank you for your participation in the EduKit program!
