Important: Dress Code

Hello TTE familes,

With the warmer spring weather upon us, we want to remind you of TTE's Dress Code which is outlined below.  In particular, a reminder about the acceptable length for shorts, skirts, and dresses.  Our policy is that shorts/skirts/dresses must be as long as the tip of the student's finger tips when hands are down at their sides.  Our policy also states that shorts or tights be worn under skirts and dresses.

If students come to school wearing attire shorter than our policy, a staff member or the student (depending on age) will make a call home to have appropriate clothing brought to school that the student can change into.

A reminder that spaghetti straps must be covered with a shirt or sweater.  Also, off the shoulder tops are not allowed at school.

We ask that you spend a few moments going over TTE's Dress Code with your student.

Thank you for your help and support.

Michele Radke,
Principal

TTE DRESS CODE REMINDERS

down at sides.
 3. No beach wear (swim suits, etc.).  This includes spaghetti strap,

TIMBER TEAM SUPPORTS  "A PRECIOUS CHILD"
Timber Team needs your help! Did you know that according to the 2014 Kids Count in Colorado, 224,611 children live in poverty and 41.9% qualify for free or reduced lunch? We want to help this community by partnering with the organization, A Precious Child. In order to best support this organization, Timber Team invites TTE to participate in "A Precious Child Week Spirit Week." This will be like a traditional spirit week from April 20-23Each day, students can participate in the different spirit week theme by either bringing in at least $1 and/or a requested supply. The organization's greatest needs are for the following supplies: gently used children's clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies, sporting equipment, and stuffed animals. They also request new socks, underwear, and diapers, as well as monetary donations. Any and all members of our TTE community are welcome to participate!

Our Timber Team representatives chose the following themes:
Monday, April 20- Dress Like a Teacher Day
Tuesday, April 21- Sport Jersey/Hat Day
Wednesday, April 22- Decade Day
Thursday, April 23- Crazy Hair Day and/or Beach Wear Day (no swim suits)
