For more information visit www.redapplerecycling.com NUTRITION SERVICES SURVEY Nutrition Services is reaching out to parents at Timber Trail Elementary for feedback on our School Lunch Program. Every school day students can choose between 3 entrees, each which consists of a whole grain and protein. Additionally, students can choose a milk and are encouraged to take fresh fruits and vegetables from our Harvest Bar. Our Harvest Bar is also available to all students regardless if they purchase a school lunch. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey so we can evaluate ways for us to improve our program. Thank you, Nutrition Services Here is the link to the survey: ![]() MAY 23-LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR 2013-2014 This is a different date than what is listed on the DCSD conventional calendar (Wednesday, May 28, 2014). Timber Trail students will end their school year before Memorial Day. This change is possible because of the five minutes added to our start time. Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28 will be used as professional development days for the TTE staff. Again, this change is only for Timber Trail, not the entire district. COMMUNITY FORUMS ON STUDENT SAFETY Safeguarding Children: Building Resiliency The Douglas County School District is teaming up with local law enforcement and other community partners to provide a series of regional forums on the safety of our students. In addition to providing information about the physical safety measures we've taken, we'll be discussing the importance of psychological safety and what you can do to support your student's well-being.
