STUDENT DROP OFF STARTS AT 8:20!

We need your help! We have noticed a lot of children being dropped off prior to 8:20 am.

Parents must wait with students until 8:20 am. Prior to 8:20 am there is no school supervision outside. Please wait until our staff (with bright orange vest) are outside before you leave. Thank you for helping keep out students safe.

UPCOMING TTEA MEETINGS

Don't forget we will be having a TTEA meeting on Monday, February 12th at 9:00 am in the library.  Please join us so you can stay up-to-date with all that will happening in the months to come.  We will also have an evening meeting on Tuesday, February 13th at 6:00 pm for those that can't come on Monday morning.  We look forward to seeing everyone!

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

We are wrapping up Jump Rope For Heart with the American Heart Association. We have exceeded our $7000 goal!  All money goes directly to the American Heart Association. Thank you so much for helping our school stay heart healthy and save lives at the same time! If you haven't had a chance to join the squad there's still a little time left to earn the #ScareSquad monsters. Sign up now at www.heart.org/Jump or download the Jump/Hoops App (App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android).

BOX TOPS DUE FEBRUARY 15 - EARN $$ FOR TTE!

Timber Trail receives 10 cents for every Box Top submitted. Last year, we raised over $1500 for our school, just by clipping Box Tops.  We will be collecting Box Tops on February 15th. Start clipping and saving those Box Tops.

CLICK, EAT, GO!  NEW LUNCH ALTERNATIVE

Lunches are prepared fresh daily and can be customized based on your child's preferences and dietary requirements. Students do not have to wait in line!  There is a separate station where lunches will be picked up.  Each sack is labeled with the student's name/ID number so they can quickly grab their lunch.

You can place multiple days orders at the same time.  Simply browse the menus with your child, select their lunch each day and pay with a credit card or your existing MySchoolBucks account.  (Lunches must be ordered one day in advance and cannot be ordered more than 7 days ahead.)

Option to place a personal note in the lunch sack!

Visit www.clickeatgo.com for more information or to create an account.

If you experience any problems placing your order, please contact Tamara McCarthy at 303-387-0381 between the hours of 7am-3pm or tamara.mccarthy@dcsdk12.org.

“THERE WITH CARE” FEBRUARY DONATION COLLECTION

Clean Hands, Warm Hearts is the theme of our February donation collection for “There With Care”.  We will be collecting:

Clorox Wipes

Hand Sanitizer

Paper Towels

Toilet Paper

Did you know children facing critical illnesses are immune compromised so they have to use paper towels, not hand towels?  Families have to disinfect their home and hospital room multiple times a day. These donation items are critical to the 182 families receiving help on a bi-monthly basis from “There With Care”.

On Thursday, February 15th, Timber Trail will have their own volunteer training at “There With Care” from 10-11:30 (2401 S Colorado Blvd Suite A). Please e-mail karyn@therewithcare.org or Anna at agspitzer@yahoo.com for volunteer questions. More information can be found at http://www.therewithcare.org/ under the volunteer tab or call 303-756-2273.  Thank you!
