GIRLS ON THE RUN COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECT Every season, Girls on the Run (GOTR) at Timber Trail is involved with a Community Impact Project that helps the girls learn about community and making a difference in the community. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program designed to and enhance girls' social, psychological, and physical competencies to successfully navigate life experiences. Each year, nearly 5,000 girls participate in the program along the Front Range. Half of these girls receive a scholarship and some cannot afford appropriate running shoes. Please help support these girls by donating a pair of new or gently used shoes. We are in need of running shoes sizes youth 12,13, 1-4. Along with collecting youth shoes for Girls on the Run, we are also collecting any used running shoes(youth and adult) to donate to be recycled into athletic surfaces, such as running tracks, playgrounds, outdoor tennis courts and many other surfaces. A donation box is located in the front office. The last day for donations will be Wednesday, December 16th. Thank you for your support and helping the Girls on the Run Community Impact Project!
