Dear TTE Families,

Happy Holidays!  Your participation in the TTE Staff Holiday Giving Project was truly amazing.  Your token of appreciation allowed every person at TTE to be recognized for what they do for our students. The staff was overwhelmed by your generosity, and there were several tears of joy.

We also want to thank you for your support of our philanthropic activities the past few weeks.  Please see the update on each one below.

On behalf of the entire staff of TTE I want to thank you.  We are truly blessed to be in such a loving, caring, and supportive community.  We wish you and your family the most blessed and wonderful holiday season.

Michele Radke

Principal

TIMBER TEAM SPIRIT WEEK

Thanks for supporting Timber Team's Winter Spirit Week!  $620 was raised which allowed Timber Team to provide holiday gifts for four children in need, as well as purchase toys for Kindergarten's Toy Drive.  Additionally, 7 large bags of winter wear donations were collected for Fresh Harvest Food Bank.  Thanks again!

“LEAN ON ME” 3RD GRADE PBL PROJECT

The 3rd grade students and teachers want to give a sincere thanks for all of your support with their “Lean On Me” PBL project. The bake sale was a huge success, and $1,100 was raised for the grade level to split! In the end, the third grade students raised $4,700!  This allowed them spend approximately $213 on each and every one of the 21 adopted family members from the Women’s Crisis Center!  In addition, each family was provided with a holiday meal. This was not only a positive learning experience for our 3rd grade students, but also a positive learning experience in the importance of giving.  Thank you so much for all of your support!  Have a very blessed and happy holiday season, and enjoy the time off with your families!!

“SOCK IT TO ‘EM” 5TH GRADE PARTY PROJECT

The Sock it to ‘Em Sock Campaign sock collection for the homeless throughout Denver was a huge success!  The school collected 689 pair of socks for the homeless. The 5th grade class prepared them for distribution throughout Denver by sorting the socks by size and gender.  They also made cards for the recipients.  Please know that each and every pair of socks are making a difference in someone’s life – especially during these cold winter months.  A warm, THANK YOU to the 5th grade class and all who supported this very worthy cause.
