Parent Checklist 
We are excited that your child will participate in Douglas County’s Outdoor Education learning experience for 6th grade students.  This experience supports and reinforces science academic standards and provides an opportunity to build confidence with meeting new challenges and living more independently.  The time together with classmates, teachers, high school leaders, and camp staff members develops trust and cooperation that, in turn, builds a stronger community of learners.

The cost for this experience is $280.00. The cost of the program covers transportation, lodging, meals, guest speakers, trained staff and all activities.  All students need a copy/proof of personal health insurance card (if not insured a low cost option can be purchased from K and K Insurance by going to: 

Please register your student this week for 6th Grade Outdoor Ed at Stone Canyon Edventures from August 15 - 17, 2018.

  • Here is the registration link:

  • Please have 15-20 minutes available to complete the process.

  • Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email from Active Network.

  • The link is for registration only!  You must pay separately through Revtrack or with cash or check at the SCE front office.  Total due for Outdoor Ed is $280.00.  If your child participated in the fundraising event, your child earned 40% of the total sold.  This amount will be posted to Revtrack by the end of this week.  All Outdoor Ed fees must be paid in full by August 10, 2018
