About the PTIO

The PTIO is YOUR organization. It is run by you, supports what you care about and is successful because you participate. If you're a parent or teacher, you are a member of the PTIO! We work together to:

  • Promote the welfare of children in the home, school, and community
  • Foster a closer relationship between home and school, allowing for intelligent cooperation between parents and teachers in the education of children
  • Provide effective communication and understanding between the school and the community
  • Facilitate the funding of appropriate educational opportunities that support the PTIO objectives

We have a great year of community-building events planned, like our Pancake Breakfast, Movie Night, and Bingo Night. This year we're introducing events sure to become new favorites, like Donuts with Dads and Muffins with Moms.

We'll also raise money through fundraisers to provide additional opportunities and materials to our kids, show appreciation for our teachers and staff, and allow SRE's administration to spend their budget dollars on staffing our school with the incredible teachers who make a difference for our kids every day, keeping class sizes small, and providing a full range of specials.

Want to volunteer? Have an idea? Please contact us! Let's make this year SRE's best one yet!

Support Our School

SRE families are invited and encouraged to participate in several ways to Support Our School!

Are you looking to make a personal or corporate tax deduction by the end of the year? Consider donating to SRE!

The SRE PTIO, a Chapter of the Douglas County Educational Foundation, is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code 501c3 and your contribution is tax-deductible within the limits of the law. Our Federal Tax ID# is 84-1165175. You can drop off a check at the SRE office (made payable to SRE PTIO).

All donations will be used to pay for programs that benefit all SRE students.

There are also ways to support our school that doesn't cost you anything! From using King Soopers and Safeway reloadable cards for grocery shopping to collecting Box Tops, and signing up for Red Robin Loyalty Rewards, SRE families can generate thousands of dollars a year for the school at no cost to your family!
