BASKETBALL CAMP THIS SUMMER @ MRMS! Two sessions from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30 Monday thru Friday, June 11-15. Sign up on Rev Trak or see Mr. Lopez for more info.
As mentioned previously, all textbooks and library books still checked out are now overdue. They should be taken directly to Mrs. Greeno in the main office.
Just a few reminders about expected behavior during yearbook signing on Friday. Only notebooks, papers, or yearbooks may be signed. There will be no signing of clothing, body parts, etc. Anyone doing this will be sent inside to change or wash. Only positive messages should be signed in yearbooks. Any students signing with vulgar language, pictures, negative words, etc will be expected to pay for a replacement yearbook for the student whose yearbook was destroyed with these inappropriate signings. Any students who are misbehaving during the yearbook signing time will be removed and wait out the rest of the day inside. This can be such a fun time; please be responsible and respectful!
Please remember to check lost and found and the blue bins by the front door! All remaining items will be donated to charity.
Hey Interact Club: Don't forget that we are celebrating our work this year today after school in the 7 Yellow Pod from 2:45 until 3:30. See you there!
If you still have a library book or textbook it is way, way, way overdue! You need to take it to Mrs. Greeno in the main office and beg for mercy. Good luck with that. Have a nice day.
Happy last day of classes!!! Just to dispel any rumors... Any behavior that happens on school grounds (including bus stops) on the last day of school or leading up to the last day of school can include discipline that carries over to next year either at MRMS or at MVHS. Students not going to those two schools, we will either reach out to the next school regarding behavior or we will refer it to the Sheriff's Department. Please think about the reputation that you want to end the year with and the simple approach to life: Be Kind and Be a Good Person!

It means we get FREE tickets for Elitch Gardens!!! Wednesday, June 13th is Wish Day at Elitch Gardens. Every student and staff member can get a FREE ticket for a full day pass that day! We will put tickets in your RAM teachers' boxes and they will be distributed on Tuesday, May 22nd. RAM teachers, please turn in all unused tickets to Mrs. Clarke by Wednesday afternoon and then we will disperse the extras. Way to go MRMS!!

Congratulations to the MRMS track team at the district track and field meet last night! We do not have the final scores, but the team performed very well in all of their events. Shout out to all of the kids who stayed to run across the field during the 4x400 relays, cleaned up the hurdles, and took down the team camp. It’s athletes like you who are the true champions! This is what Mountain Ridge Track is made of. See you after school for the team party! Make sure to bring your $3 and jersey if you haven’t already.
Students and Staff: There are still a few pro copies available of The Basement for $12. If you want to purchase one, you might want to hurry to Mr. Beckett's room before or after school next week to get yours! Basement Cast: If you would like to still get your own copy (not the professional copies), go see Mr. Beckett also before or after school.

Attention all 8th grade BOUNCE helpers: Please remember to be at school by 5:30 tonight to get ready for BOUNCE. Please contact Ms. Moore if you cannot attend. Thank you for helping.
This year's track season has come to a close. Today, we competed against Ranch View. A single bus made three trips, we had a lightning delay, and there was a choir concert at BOTH schools, but we found a way to persevere and do our best. Several athletes had their best meet of the season, but the following 7th and 8th graders showed exceptional character AND athleticism: Annie Romalia for outstanding teamwork, Andrew Marsh being a motivating teammate with a positive attitude, Cody Brown for supporting his teammates with their confidence and technique, and Kei Ivery for her positivity and effort in everything she does. We are incredibly proud of our 220+ athletes who worked as a collective group to win track meets, make new friends, and show what it takes to be a true teammate. This has been an outstanding season! Way to go, Rams!

Last Friday night, The Basement Premiere was a smashing success! The students did a fabulous job running ticket sales, interviews, concessions, ushering, and making popcorn ALL NIGHT. Mr. Beckett and Period 8 Digital Media would like to thank the students, parents, and staff members who attended, helped, or participated. We could not have done any of this without your support. We also have the pictures that Mrs. Reeves took that night. To get your photo, bring a flash drive to Mr. Beckett's room at some point this week and copy your image.
The day of the great Zamboni race approaches, will you be on board? In order to be eligible for the race you have to participate in the projectile motion challenge. There are going to be several sessions where students can get help completing activity documents. The first session of this week will be today during team time, from 12:00 to 12:47. Other sessions will take place Wednesday during RAM and Friday during access. All sessions will take place in the library.
