September 25, 2018
There will be no debate practice after school on Wednesday due to Student Led Conferences. Please come to talk about our tournament topics on Friday morning at 7:00 in Room 241!
Unified coaches, we will meet in room 193 after school today to get ready for our game!
So you suffered through Vincelette's nearly 7 minute long Fact Cab video last week, (man that guy can talk) filled out your application, and now you find yourself wondering,… why, why, WHY!? Listen and I will tell you why. Because this week during RAM Mr. Vincelette is going to be giving rides to 10 lucky folks who filled out and posted their week #1 applications correctly. Oh, BTW, the week #2 application has been posted. Get to it by clicking on the Fact Cab tile on the library symbaloo.
The Christian Club will meet tomorrow at the Flag Pole for National See You at the Pole Day. Please join us from 7:00-7:25am.
The 8th Grade Rams Football Team will be playing Ranch View today at 4:00pm up on the Vista field. This is a huge game before the team enters the playoffs next Monday! Please come on out and cheer the team on! Lesss Go Rams!

Mr. Vincelette is hoping students will watch the introductory video that has a link on the Fact Cab week #1 application. You can find the application by clicking on the Fact Cab tile on the library symbaloo, then using your critical thinking skills.
Shazam! 20 kids have posted links to completed applications for Week #1 of the Fact Cab campaign!! Thank you to RAM teachers who shared Mr Vincelette's instructions for filling out the week #1 application forms and posting links. BTW Foxy-G's RAM currently has the most posted applications.
ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!!! Today after school! Get that $1.00 ready and come support the 8th Grade Football and The Interact Club! We would really appreciate it! WE ARE EXCITED!

Congratulations to Addison McNeil, the first Mountain Ridge student to ride the Fact Cab around the upper deck of the commons. She completed three laps Tuesday at roughly 7:20 AM while being accompanied by Mr. Vincelette and Ms. Sprafke. Who will be next?
ITS GAME DAY!  The Rams 8th grade tackle football team has its first home game today versus Rocky Heights!  Come on out and represent!  Game time is 4:00pm.  See you there! Go Rams!

Hey Interact Club! We will be meeting this Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00 a.m. in the 7 Yellow pod to get things ready for our first Brookdale visit this Saturday the 22nd. The Running Club is off to a great start after Saturday’s Rock Canyon Invitational. Eighth Graders Gavin White and Annie Romalia led their teams to victory on the two mile course. Great job, runners! See you at practice today. Meet in the music room after school.
This was yet another successful year for the MRMS volleyball program. Our 8th grade B team finished the season 5-1 and nearly went undefeated except for one close match. Our A team, despite finishing 3-3 in the regular season, played their best volleyball of the year and won the district tournament for the second year in a row!! If you see any of these spectacular student athletes in the hallways please congratulate them for their hard work and exceptional skill!!
ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!!! The 8th Grade Football Team will be selling ice cream sandwiches TODAY after school for $1.00. WOW, what a deal! We are raising money for the Interact Club so they can continue serving the community and school in the fantastic fashion that they do! We will be in the front and back of the school for your convenience! See you there!

8th grade girls volleyball will be selling lollipops after school by the gym and front door for a dollar. All proceeds will be going to the fallen police officers bike tour from New Jersey to Washington D.C.
ALL 7th grade girls who are interested in being a part of MRMS 7th grade girls volley ball make sure ALL your paper work and physical is up-to-date by Monday Sept. 17. We will meet at 3pm in the gym on Monday. See you then - Coach Haskell, Knutson and Lechuga

A quick reminder that the Sources of Strength Student Leader Training is Monday, Sept. 17 from 7:30 - 11:08. We will start in the Commons. If there is a Parent Permission slip attached to your reminder you MUST bring it with you Monday morning in order to participate. 8th Grade Leaders--you should have received your reminders yesterday during Period 8. 7th Grade Leaders--You should have received your reminder today during Period 1. 7th Teachers--Reminders were placed in your mailbox yesterday afternoon. Thank you for distributing.

MRMS XC UNDEFEATED!!!! All runners what a superb season. Congratulations and keep on running.... Speaking of that, running club starts tomorrow with a meet at Rocky Canyon Invitation. Way to FIGHT THE PAIN!!!
Attention Sewing Club!! Unfortunately, sewing club will be cancelled today. Please make sure you ride the bus or make ride arrangements. Sewing club should be back on for next week!
