Updates from the PTO

posted Oct 23, 2012, 8:49 AM by Olga Rainosek

Ladies and gentlemen...the Fall Festival is officially upon us!  This Friday, October the 26th...come join us from 5:30-7:30pm at school for a wonderful evening of fun, food, games, treats, prizes and shows!  Tickets are available for pre-sale now for $10/children 4 and older...BUT, only until Wednesday, October 24th (so we have enough time to get them back to you).  After that time, the tickets will increase in price to $12/children 4 and older at the door (younger than 4 are free).  So, be sure to order your tickets ASAP!

Remember...all ticket prices include all shows, festivities, treats, dinner and drinks for all children...so, grab your camera, DEFINITELY dress in costume (there will be a costume contest)...and come join us for a few hours of fun to ring in the Fall Season!

IMPORTANT:  The PTO Community Service committee will also be collecting all travel-sized toiletries for the Denver Rescue Mission...so, be sure to clear out your stock (especially for those of you who travel)...or pick up a few toothbrushes or travel toothpastes (or other items) from the local store and bring them with you!  (remember...they should be travel sized to provide ease of carrying for those in need) Let's show our Redstone students the meaning of community service.

Calling All Volunteers for the Fall Festival

posted Oct 23, 2012, 8:47 AM by Olga Rainosek

The Fall Festival is looking for some more volunteers so please sign up for at least an hour of time, if you can manage it...or send this forward to high school students  who are looking to fulfill their community service hours!  Let's make this year's Festival the best ever for our Redstone students!

Please see the link for volunteer shifts:

If you can't volunteer for an hour shift please also consider sending in a dozen mini sized donuts (plain) for our donut dangle or an assortment of full sized candy bars for our sweet tooth walk.  Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Can you believe it's almost fall??!!!   And with the onset of fall...that means our Fall Festival is right around the corner.  At this time, we are in need of any volunteers who would like to help with the coordination and planning of Fall Festival.  It doesn't matter how much time you have...one hour, 5 hours, weeks of time...we have a place for you!  Please contact Jenn Broome, Fall Festival Coordinator at twomoremakes5@comcast.net to find a place on one of our committees (you can help with trick or treat street, shows, pizza dinner, crafts, games, skeleton scavenger hunt, the mad scientist room...whatever interests you!)

Move-a-Thon

posted Sep 21, 2012, 7:08 PM by Olga Rainosek   [ updated Sep 25, 2012, 10:16 AM ]

The Move-A-Thon was a great success!  Seeing the students out on the fields laughing and having fun was all we could ask for.  Thanks to the staff who supported us, to the many parents who helped volunteer and kept things running smoothly and a special thanks to the PTO hospitality crew for planning a great luncheon for the staff!  We're tallying the results and will be passing prizes out the week of October 22nd.  Thank you for supporting our school!

NOTE:  There was some confusion regarding the Move-A-Thon shirts and the time of their arrival.  If you ordered a shirt and no longer want the shirt, we would like to offer you a $10 credit towards spirit wear or a refund.  Please email Libby Field at dhyanamo@gmail.com if you would like to order spirit wear or receive a refund no later than Thursday September 20th otherwise a MAT shirt will be ordered for your student.
