My name is Lisa Huard and I am a junior at the Mary Lou Fulton's Teachers College at Arizona State University. I am currently persuing my bachelor's degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. I was inspired to be a teacher by my kindergarten teacher. She gave me a great foundation in my early years of school and I want to do the same for others. I also absolutely love seeing a child's face the first time they understand a new concept. Children inspire me to be a better person and I want to inspire them to do the same. After completing my bachelor's, I want to work in a special needs preschool in a school district. I also would like to get a grad certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as a masters in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children, helping them to succeed, and I can't wait for the day when I have a classroom of my own.
