Winter

By: Aubree Davis

WINTER- December, January, early February. Temperatures range from 65 degrees during the day to 39 degrees at night. The later months of winter is when we will see the most rain.
Fun Fact- Many people think that the Sonoran Desert doesn't get snow, but the Superstition Mountains do get snow, and the desert does freeze. The trees will drop their leaves when it begins to freeze. The Superstition Mountains are located in the North East portion of the Sonoran Desert. It is not unheard of, but still rare that the people living in the Valley of the Sun, (Phoenix and its surrounding areas) will see snow during the winter. This phenomenon happens about every 5 years or so.
