By: Aubree Davis FORESUMMER- May-June. This is when we begin to hit the 100 degree mark, and even into the 110’s. Very little rain falls in these two months. Most creatures, humans included, head to the high country where the weather is cooler. People and creatures who don't head north try to come out at night, or stay in the shade or water during the day. During this time of year the plants appear to be dead. However, they are hibernating much like bears do in the winter when it snows. Picture taken by Paul Gill |
