WHERE DO I LIVE
My habitat is open woodlands with a nest in the trees located in southern Arizona. My nest is often made out of grass stems, lichen, and leaves in a cup shape nest. The nest if often placed at mid-height at the tree.

WHAT DO I EAT
What I eat is almost exclusively seeds. These seeds tend to come from annual plants. They also eat berries from mistletoe and California Buckthorn. They also eat Chamise achenes which are the dried fruits of greasewood. I tend to perch on trees and pick seeds from it.
HOW DO I REPRODUCE
During the breeding period in the summer. I first will find a mate and then build a nest. I tend to have no loyal breeding grounds. My breeding grounds tend to relate on availability of water and seed plants. I will lay about 3-6 eggs per nest.
