About

Michaela was born and raised in New Hampshire. She graduated from St. Mary High School, attended the Ringling School of Art and the University of New Hampshire.

She married and moved to Rhode Island where she enrolled in class at the Rhode Island School of Design. She later worked for the A.T. Cross Pen and Pencil Company of Lincoln, Rhode Island designing corporate emblem logos that are attached to the writing instruments.

Michaela and her husband lived for over forty years in Rhode Island. They both retired and moved to Naples, Florida in 2005.

What was once a hobby, has now blossomed into a full-fledged painting career. Her love of vibrant color and realistic design is reflected in her work.
