About me
I'm Fan Wang, an early-stage researcher specializing in computer-generated holograms (CGH) and three-dimensional (3D) displays. Since October 2023, I served as a post-doctoral researcher at Chiba University in Japan, funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
I completed my Ph.D. in September 2023 from the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University, advised by Prof. Shimobaba, with a primary focus on advancing CGH algorithms and elevating the performance of holographic displays. My research primarily revolves around polygon-based CGHs, including the development of innovative algorithms and the establishment of a comprehensive generation pipeline.
I am passionate about advancing open, collaborative, and creative science. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, and skiing.
