RAISE 2019
RAISE 2019 is a national conference happening in Toc H Institute of Science and Technology organized by Department of Safety and Fire Engineering in association with the Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala and National Safety Council, Kerala Chapter. This gathering will mainly discuss the recent developments and viewpoints in the way of modern security which correspond with the well being of all the stake holders. Ongoing innovations in the industrial safety area are to be exhibited in this gathering which will improve the capacity of the young researchers to handle the circumstances and to upgrade the elements of the issues effortlessly in the present situation. This gathering will also integrate introductions from research scholars and industry specialists with down to earth and intuitive track sessions.
Department of Safety & Fire Engineering
B.Tech. in Safety & Fire Engineering discipline started in the year 2011 and the total intake of students is 60. The department has developed its infrastructural platforms over the years with the addition of standard laboratory facilities and training programmes. The department offers multiple electives to meet student aspirations and encourages technical development through interactive smart class room discussions on beyond the syllabus topics. The department boasts about its faculty committed towards fulfilling the needs of students and in transforming them into professionals. We also offer added training classes like NEBOSH certification to students which helps them in getting their dream recruitment's. The students also get on hand training in the use of fire extinguishers through various training sessions and mock drills. We provide the students constant guidance to develop themselves by doing various projects. It is an interdisciplinary branch being offered by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).
