Welcome to my English website!

The 2018-2019 school year will be my fourth year teaching high school English, but my first year at Taylor High School. I spent the last three years teaching high school English at Reedsburg Area High School in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. While at RAHS, I taught English 10, Advanced Composition and served as the head varsity baseball coach for three years and was PLC team leader.

Even though I enjoyed teaching in my home state of Wisconsin, I am excited to be able to return to my collegiate home of Ohio. In 2015, I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in English (Non-Fiction Writing Concentration) while also completing a teaching licensure program in AYA English/Language Arts education. While at Ohio Wesleyan, I played on the varsity baseball team, worked as a Writing Center Intern/Tutor, and completed my student teaching placement at Dublin Scioto High School.

This year, I am teaching English 9, Honors English 9, Career & College Exploration, and Young Adult Literature. When I am not teaching, I enjoy coaching, following my favorite sports teams (Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers), reading, golfing, hiking, and playing with my dog Zoey.
