Why? The west is in the midst of a wildfire crisis. Catastrophic damages, like structure loss, cause harm to families and communities. We need to become fire-adapted.

How? Our results will inform programs to help make communities fire-adapted. 

What? We explore social and biophysical relationships to inform compliance and barriers to HIZ mitigation in California’s Sierra Nevada and Santa Cruz Mountains.
