Winnie was very sweet and snuggly after my knee surgery! What a sweet girl!

Look! Max's red coat coloring looks just like my Winnie's coat color! Two peas in a pod! He is going to be one HANDSOME boy...I also LOVE how Winnie's coat is growing out. She is a gigantic fluff ball. That would have to be the number one best seller for Pam Crump's puppies...their coats are unbelievable.
We had a great time playing outside for the very first time! .....And then we got sleepy!
Today's Precious Moment (9/3/11):
Bliss and Lillie in their car seat on their way to watch the LSU game with me! As you can tell, Lillie is not very happy because she wants to be in my lap.
Today's Precious Moment (7/17/11):
Lucy's playtime with Daddy quickly changed to bathtime...
First the face...now the ears...
Bathtime is just so relaxing...
Bathtime quickly changed to naptime...

Mazie and Gus "sitting up" and Gus "speaking" on 3/23/11
(He has the most amazing tail and it's only going to get better over the next 6 months!)
When you are looking for a puppy and a reputable breeder, please beware of the "imperial shih tzu." NO REPUTABLE breeder of Shih Tzu would try to breed for smaller than the AKC standard size which is 9-16 lbs. Mazie is 9.3 lbs. and is tiny as it is. IF a puppy seems to be growing at a rate in which they possibly could be smaller as an adult, they should be sold with spay/neuter contract. A lot of people breed for this and label them "imperial shih tzu" and ask for much higher costs. For example, Lola was sold to me as an "imperial" before I had really done enough research to understand that this was wrong and what an "imperial" she turned out to be...Ha, all 11-12 lbs. of her...You can probably guess I wouldn't recommend her breeder, but I will say she actually is wonderful when it comes to AKC breed standards. So it all works out in the end. Also, be very careful with puppies and adult dogs labeled as blues. It is better if you can see them in person, but if you can't look very closely at the nose, lips, pads, and eye color last. I have seen many on puppy find and other sources that are not true blues over the years. Moral of these stories....BREEDERS will LIE so be careful.
