World of Prysm

Welcome Travellers, to the World of Prysm
 
 
This world was forged in friendship and immagination.  It began in the year 1985 as a group of friends with too much imagination to play regular games and has erupted into this world known as Prysm (with 43 players and counting).  As with all D&D worlds Prysm has borrowed from other sources, especially first edition, but it has grown thanks to the imaginations of people and the almost endless work of the dm's.  In Prysm I hope you can experience the magic that has made D&D the most popular role playing game of all times.  If I may I would like to share one of the best settings I had ever had in D&D.  We played first ed. under my fav dm, Mark, at Scott's and Coleen's house.  We played on Thursdays, and I don't mind telling you that I looked forward to that night more than any other.  I was with Scott, Coleen, Noel, Tyler, Roxi and others before a fireplace, our figurines on a beautifully coloured and drawn map done by Mark, and the adventures he would make had us so enthralled that we didn't notice we had played from 7pm. til 6Am.  He later inspired me to become a Dungeon Master and to work my own magic, and it is this magic I will capture for you if you are a part of my world.
 
"This world is built on legends, from the Frozen palace of Dynn in the north, to the savage temple of Muk'tah in the south, from the lost city of Villynthia, to the hidden dragon isles of Io's Bloodchain.  Everywhere you look the opportunity for adventure is there, but beware just having a weapon doesn't make you an adventurer.  You'll need cunning to deal with the undead rulers of the Avaroth Isles,  quick reflexes if you are to survive the traps and monsters that litter the vault, not to mention courage should you find yourself facing the Sun Wyrm said to lair in the Hanging Gardens.  I recommend you gather yourself an adventuring party, find those who have the skills you lack and you can trust.  Shield one another with your strengths and allow them to cover your faults.  For it is only together will you be able to survive in the likes of  Durondal's Tomb, the Devils Heart, the Dragons Barrow, and other far more dangerous locales.  Journey as comrades and you will have my blessings." ~ From the teachings of Amaril Nailo.
 
Prysm is far from complete, I kept it this way so new players can still have a chance to make their mark on my world.  With ample places left to explore Dm's and players alike can forge their own adventures and in so doing make legends for and of their selves.  My only request is you start from the begining as all adventures must, if you have any questions or comments contact me at widezqueezar@yahoo.ca to get started.

Main game is hosted Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with secondary games during the weekday, subject to player and DM availability
