HELLO PEANUTS! Welcome to my webpage! I created this site so the students  in my English classes can get a weekly update as to what is going on in the classroom. I will post what we will be doing each week in the classroom, what homework/assignments/essays/projects will be due and when they are due, and any notes that were taken in class. Hopefully, this page will be useful to you if you have been absent and want to see what you missed or if you just want to keep on task. I hope you enjoy! =)

HOW THIS SITE WORKS:

To the left, you will notice the sidebar. There are links for specific classes that I am in with you. Simply click on the link for what class you are in and that will take you to the information you need.  The break down is this:

 

*GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS - this is where you will find the information on due dates, projects, essays, etc. that ALL THREE CLASSES have in common and have to worry about (things like your research paper and most essay due dates).

 

*MS. SISCONE

 

*MR. MURPHY

 

*MRS. SESSA - please note that there will be TWO sections on this page: SENIORS and JUNIORS. They are CLEARLY labeled. Make sure you are getting the proper assignments for your grade level.

 

*GRAMMAR DO'S AND DO NOT'S - for all of your basic grammar questions. If you need information about punctuation, transitions, quotations and word usage this is where you will find it. It should be helpful to all of the classes (juniors and seniors).

 

*HOW TO'S - this is where you will get a break down on how to do specific writing/reading tasks like: proper essay format, note cards, source cards, quotations, etc.

 

*NOTES - this is where you will find notes that were on the board.

 

*THOUGHT OF THE DAY - I can't promise that this will be updated every day, but here is where I will share quotes, lyrics and random thoughts that, I hope, will lift your spirits, help you through a bad day or just make you take a second to stop and think.
