I skinned up towards Ruby Lake, Mills Lake and finally the North Couloir of Mount Abbot. I booted up the couloir to the start of the 3rd class scramble to the summit. I left my skis and poles there. It began snowing and visibility decreased, but not enough to deter me from continuing. I finally reached the summit and noticed that no one signed the register for over 6 months. I descended back to my skis, deskinned, clicked in on a sandy ledge and began my ski descent; the skiing was challenging due to difficult snow and flat light.
