His family have been Christians living in Galilee for  generations. He says they are the “living stones” who have kept the faith for generations. After teaching school for 25 yearsRaed became a licensed tour guide and has now been leading tours for 4 years. He is married to Elain and they have 2 sons, Fadi and Ron. Doris and I first met Raed and his family while visiting Israel a number of years ago. | Your Trip of a Lifetime I have traveled to Israel six times. My first time there was in 1989 when I did a unit of graduate study at the Institute of Holy Land Studies (Now Jerusalem University College). That experience was life-changing and ever since I have longed to return and to help other people experience the wonder of the land Jesus called his own.
Doris and I returned in 1998 leading our first pilgrimage. We led groups again in 2001, 2006 and 2008, as well as traveling there in 2005 with friends to visit their son who was a student at Hebrew University. So this will be my seventh time to Israel. Doris and I would love to host you on this pilgrimage of faith. We cannot promise you some mega-faith experience, but we can promise that we will do all we can to give you an experience that is both rewarding and fun.
