Welcome

Welcome to the Independence Elementary PTO! Our organization strives to make Independence an exceptional place for our children and their teachers. The purpose of the PTO is to support, strengthen, enrich, and encourage the educational and social environment of Independence Elementary by fostering opportunities for members of the Independence family to socialize, communicate, and grow and endowing financial support for technology needs and various other programs/needs outside of the school's annual budget.
We are so proud of Independence Elementary and are thrilled to have you as part of our community. We look forward to a great year!

Our next PTO meeting is Tuesday, May 8th at 6:00 pm (in the Library).

Hope to see you there!

Following the meeting, we will have a year end, celebratory gathering at a local restaurant (TBD).

Skate Night

The next Skate Night, April 19th, is the PTO hosted skate night. Admission for Independence students will be paid for by the PTO.

Sk8 Galaxy: 6p-8p
Skate rental: $2
Family Reading Night

When: April 24th -6:00-7:30pm

Come at your own pace!

Where: Independence Elementary

Movie Night

Our next and final Movie night of the year will be held on Friday, May 4th.  We will be showing KUNG FU PANDA2 (chosen by 5 out of 7 classes that voted).
