The Christian Doctrine of man is intrinsically bound up with the problem of property.

There are three possible solutions of the problem of property. One is to put all the eggs into a few baskets, which is Capitalism;

the other is to make an omelet out of them so that nobody owns, which is Communism;

the other is to distribute the eggs in as many baskets as possible, which is the solution of the Catholic Church.

Bishop Fulton Sheen - Introduction to "Christian Social Principles", 1941 - imprimatur, Cardinal Spellman

Ignatius, Aquinas and Maritain Diversified Cooperative Community (IAM DCC) is a community of lay persons forming for the primary purpose to glorify God through a cooperative community enterprise based on Charity and Truth.

Based on Catholic teaching, the community exits not without the persons (not individuals), and the person exists not without the community. The source of knowledge and creativity for the community comes from two (2) ? spiritual sources acting in the material temporal milieu.
  • The conscious creative expression of God from each person who forms the community.
  • The moral authority of the Roman Catholic Church whose head is the Pope.
Therefore; this does not exclude a pluralistic practical lay community which can include all spiritual denominations and  humanist concepts. Much as a employee would enter into a contract in a capitalistic organization so  a partner/owner/worker would enter IAM DCC.  Because the authority is two fold and both hierarchical and democratic in its expression.

It would seem that  only an absolute Atheist would be uaable to express creativity, charity and love in truth in our community, but (s)he is welcome to try.

As a community we have no fear of conflict or division as expressions of ideas, human feelings, human failings, or even of human sins. "The greater the sin the greater the Glory".  Often seen as impractical spiritual ideals we abide by the highest standards of Jesus Christ. All things are taken in and divininized because we are the body of Christ. As human beings we do not always act in faith, but as a matter of principal we accept Jesus teaching explicitly, and depend upon His power in charity and knowledge in truth.

However; this pluralism must exist with the authority of Christ, as whether consciously recognized, or not, the fact remains and  is that Jesus is Truth. In order to provide a creative personal expression of God each member must strive to gain and maintain a conscious contact with God. In matters little what anyone's personal conception of God may be when (s)he becomes an apprentice co-owner of IAM DCC.  There is only two requirements in this regard:
  • That you do believe or are willing to believe and receive direction from an objectively existing God.
  • You are open minded concerning a possible practice of obtaining and retaining this conscious contact with God.
As a cooperation has largely been defined as a person with the rights and responsibilities of personhood, we hold in some conditions and some aspects the derivative person hood of IAM DCC.

Consequently;  as a community we express community believes apart from any change of believe or understanding of the individual persons involved. These are believes enabled and enlivened by faith and tradition.

Accordingly;  we follow the Nicene Creed as a cooperative corporate community:

We believe in God, the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he was born of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in fulfilment of the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and His kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son
he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
