Processing of test data, basically strain measurements, is the key point of SHB testing. Our research group has been working in this field since the 80s. It has developed a software suite designed for simulation, analysis and processing of data, ensuring a fast, thorough and easy access to test results. It includes important advanced features. This suite is composed of four independent programs: Simone, Linda, David and Emilie.

Simone allows for the design of any SHB rig and the simulation of a specimen test. It is a free software.

Linda is designed to save time and avoid input errors in data preprocessing. It stores rig configuration parameters and performs signal calibration (offset removal, selection of the appropriate time interval, inversion of signals…);

David performs complete processing of SHB tests including the most recent features: dispersion correction, precise time shifting, calibration, bars punching by the specimen;

Emilie extends David capabilities to unlimited test durations. A recent extension of Emilie capabilities permits for the use of a (force) sensor short enough to be integrated in a high speed servo-hydraulic machine.

This software suite makes it possible to perform and process safely 10 tests in a day.
