Glasgow Gathering of Quilters
WELCOME TO THE GLASGOW GATHERING OF QUILTERS
The group was established in 2002 with the purposes of
promoting appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the skill, art, technique and heritage of quilt making
fostering a climate of friendship and cooperation amongst quiltmakers locally, nationally and internationally
providing a social and educational forum for quiltmakers in and around the Glasgow area.
The Gathering is open to anyone who is committed to these purposes and we have members who come from Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyllshire, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
Our meetings are varied. Our members contribute greatly to our programme and we have national and international speakers, demonstrations, show and tell, members sewing days, occasional traders evenings and more.
