Colorado Peace Network is a collection of organizations in Colorado working together to promote peace and end war.
Short-term action items include:
- Colorado Peace Group Database: CPN is developing a state-wide database of all peace groups in Colorado -- to better support and communicate with with each other and to increase impact and effectiveness in our peacebuilding activities.
- Calendar of Peace Events: In celebration of the International Day of Peace (September 21st), CPN is raising awareness of and supporting all peace activities and events in September and October. Please see the calendar here. To add an event contact coloradopeacenetwork@gmail.com
- Lobbying: During the week of September 21st, CPN will coordinate a week of lobbying activities with our congressional representatives and senators. A list of all scheduled meetings will be available on the CPN website, and you are encouraged to arrange your own meetings as well. We will also host a lobbying training for those interested in learning more about building relationships and having meetings with your legislators. We will announce the date and location for this training soon.
- Candlelight Event: Join us on September 21st at 7pm at the Denver City Park Band Shell for an evening of celebration and peacebuilding. Click here for more information.
