Meet Your Robot

Crab bot in Combat
Houston Regional meet 2010-2011

Welcome to our beach of Calhoun Crab bots from Port Lavaca!!!

This is the web site of FRC Team #3834 "Crab-Bots," a FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics team from Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, Texas.

Our team goal is to provide students an opportunity to explore Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics foundations in a
3-D way. The objective is to construct a functioning robot which will enable the thinking pattern of the students to touch the principles of science and project themselves to be future innovators. This program brings students, teachers, mentors, and sponsors to bind them with a spirit of partnership.

We are founded in 2010 with the support and guidance by Texas High School Projects and our continuing pride sponsors from Port Lavaca ALCOA Foundation funded program, Point Comfort Operations . Last but not the least our team’s proud supporter none other than our principal Mr. Brandon Stiewig who has a great enthusiastic spirit towards innovation and technology.
