Records from Bracknell

David Rowe is another new contributor to the county database, and his Bracknell records (with some excellent photos) include:

• • 1647: Barred Hook-tip (Watsonalla cultraria), 06/05/2011; 113 previous records on database - second record for the 10km square

  • 1681: Clay Triple-lines (Cyclophora linearia), 29/05/2011; 176 previous records on database - third record for the 10km square

  • 1979: Lime Hawk-moth (Mimas tiliae), 09/04/2011; the earliest in year ever for Berkshire

  • 2039: Red-necked Footman (Atolmis rubricollis), 03/06/2011; only 18 previous records on database - good record, new for 10km square, and a very fresh individual, suggesting local breeding?
