After several years of procrastination I have finally finished importing Malcolm Storey's moth records into the Berkshire database. These comprise an impressive 2,674 records, mostly from the 1990s, among them the first database records for Coleophora solitariella and for Dentated Pug, third database record for Coleophora follicularis, and the fourth for Eriocrania semipurpurella, Incurvaria pectinea and Phyllonorycter froelichiella, plus 6th and 7th records for Chimney Sweeper, 8th for Barred Umber and 7th, 8th and 9th for Map-winged Swift.

Malcolm has also been especially diligent in finding and rearing larvae of many species, resulting in detailed records of foodplants and phenology. Those of you who receive copies of the MapMate data will be able to see the results next time you get a sync file from me. Photos of many of the moths recorded can be seen on Malcolm's Bioimages website.
