This week we will be focusing on creating our medium. Last week, I mentioned that we would be creating our own materials at home. The medium we will be creating is chalk. Keep in mind, if you can buy chalk, that is best. However, there are many ways to create chalk at home. Below are three ways to create it at home. The recipes were taken from WikiHow. Each of the titles are clickable links to the recipe.

This week we will be focusing on the using our laundry as a medium (materials that are used to create a work of art). That's right let start making our piles of like colors and find an open space on the floor.
This week we will be focusing on the Artist, Marcus Oakley. This project will require students to choose a piece by Marcus Oakley and recreate it. The project focuses on the three elements of art we have used so far. They are line, shape, and color.
This week we will be focusing on the color. Parents please help your students during this assignment as they may need help gather objects around the your home.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. We will be repurposing household items to create art this week. The video above uses toilet paper rolls as a medium. :)
