Mrs. DeFelice
Hello, students and parents! I'm so happy to be entering a new school year at CVMS! This will be my fourth year teaching in the Canfield Local School District. Prior to this school year, I taught fifth grade English/language arts for six years: the last three at CVMS, and prior to that, I taught for three years at Jackson-Milton Elementary School. It has been an honor to be back teaching in Canfield after I graduated from CHS in 2008! Along with preparing for a new school year and teaching through the Cardinal Digital Academy, my husband and I are also preparing for the arrival of our first child in November!
CDA Classes: 5th - 8th grade English/language arts, 5th-8th grade math, 8th grade algebra
Note: Students who have Mrs. Putro and Miss DelFratte do NOT need to follow assignments and procedures set by Mrs. DeFelice!

Hello everyone! What an exciting new journey we are starting in Canfield Schools. I am very optimistic about the Digital Academy and all that it offers to our Canfield students. I began my teaching career at Hilltop as an instructional aide, a maternity sub for Mrs. Julie Foutty, a tutor then a third grade teacher. Those were wonderful years with a superb teaching staff under the leadership of Mrs. Louise Hartshorn and we became Canfield's first Blue Ribbon School. I moved on to the Middle School and once again, I have not been disappointed, here I found another extended family. Mr. Rubin and Mr. Flood's doors have always been open and gave me support when needed, as Mr. Maroni has now extended the same courtesy to me. Twenty two years this past July and Canfield Schools has given me more than just a wonderful satisfying career, it is my second home.

Hello CDA Students! I'm super excited to be on this new Cardinal Digital Academy journey with you all!
In addition to entering my 4th year as a Canfield teacher, I also coach cheer at CVMS and varsity track and field at CHS! Pictured with me to the left is my husband, Mr. Holmes, and our loving dog, Susie! We are also expecting our first child later in the fall.
